2 days left till im going back to IL..one thing I found interesting here at Oregon is that you CANNOT fill up your own gas... Every gas station here have workers who fills up your gas for you. You simply turn off your engine. roll down the window,,hand them your credit card and tell them what you want then sit and wait ....It's a law they have here...they're reason are.. To avoid any static explosions during winter time and also to create jobs for unemployed workers.   ....

This morning I saw one smart squirrel, Instead of crossing the street on land. it chosed to climb up a telephone pole...walk across one thin string of telephone line and then get off on the other side of the street..... I wish I had my camera out at that time to take that picture as it walk above the busy road. At times it almost slip and fell off.. But it made it through. I ANNOUNCE THE AMAZING SQUIRREL OF OREGON!!! no wonder i dont see any roadkill squirrels around this area....so smart

OK...So here I am, I have arrived at Portland Oregon a week ago today. It was a long trip since i was stuck on the Dallas Runway for nearly 2 hrs due to thunder storm + some air traffic communication out at california was down for a little bit --> causing planes to almost hit each other and delaying all flights from entering the airports. ---> causing me to be stuck in dallas bucked up in my seat yay. Well after long hrs of flying. I got to portland. First thing i noticed...it's colder than chicago..wtf....and then of course where I live there's only a 56k modem to use to connect myself to the rest of the world. I've noticed this is a state of TREES.... tall trees...they look cool since i've only seen alot of corns in IL. and they even got mountains here .wow. .... So here's the status of me. Living with 2 cousins, 2 cats, 1 Kitten, 1 dog. My daily routine includes, wake up -> watch news -> goto work with my cousin -> eat lunch -> stare at the houses and trees on the far side mountains -> get access to dsl internet at the office -> get off work -> watch tv while the dog sleeps on my chest..-> eat dinner -> watch tv +dog on chest -> watch tv + dog on chest -> watch tv w + dog on chest -> ..shower.....-> watch tv + dog on chest -> try to get online w/ 56k modem that takes about 5 minutes to connect. -> brush my teeth -> watch more tv + dog on chest -> sleep........-----> REPEAT!!!.... 

I cant wait till Oct 13th when I get back to IL... It would be full of excitment and joy. I feel like im back in the stoneage here because.the area where i'm living in is heavly wooded and have houses built in the 60's.....yay.  I can only dream about civilization.
