And so as I look at the Persimmon fruit tree in the backyard… getting ready to pull some off.. I encountered a fierce defender that comes in between me and my fruit! ….and ever since..I’ve been studying it’s ongoign progress to obtain food…. yesterday it caught a bee… and it rolled the bee up into a cacoon-like web sack… see below … facinating!!

Below is another spider i found in the yard… pretty little thing!

that’s awesome. i used to catch flies and throw them into webs to watch the spiders attack them…yeah, i was a bored kid.

that’s lovely. wait till it lay eggs in the persimmons then when you least unexpectedly bit into it your mouth will be filled with baby spiders!
